Mrs. Golda Johnson, 84, of 1203 S. Austin St., widow of Gustav Johnson, died in a Brenham Hospital Sunday at 8:40 a.m.
Memorial services will be held at the Brenham Memorial chapel Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Gaston of Snyder officiating.
Survivors include one son, Rex Clinton of Brenham; one daughter, Mrs. Esther Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Perna Young and Mrs. DeEtta Fox, both of Seal Beach, Calif.
Her husband and one sister preceded her in death.
Born in Nevada, June 8, 1890, she was a librarian.
A member of the Presbyterian Church of Brenham, Mrs. Johnson was a Founding Member of the Brenham Art Club and was actively involved in teaching art locally.
In lieu of the usual rememberances, contributions may be made to the Brenham Art Club, and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
