Esther was born on a farm June 21, 1935. When she was seven, she helped milk the cows before heading off to school. Esther attended elementary school at Sulphur Springs and Holmes Liberty. She attended High School in Bucyrus. When Esther was 16, she would work at the Five and Dime store after school.
After Esther graduated at 18, she got married and had her daughter, Connie. She would later work at North Electric, which later became ITT. She worked as a spot welder and built panels that were attached to rockets that went to the moon. She worked there for 20 years until the plant closed.
Esther loved to collect dolls, teapots, and antique dishes. She did extraordinary work with needlepoint. Some of you sitting here today may be one of the lucky ones to own a piece of her work.
Esther married Earnel Snyder who preceded her in death.
She is survived by their daughter Connie Sue, and son in law, Gaston Hazlewood. Esther is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann. Esther had two stepchildren, Ronald Leroy Snyder and Sharon Fay Snyder "Kuhn". Both have preceded her in death.
Esther later married Roger Kingsley, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two stepchildren, Mark Kingsley and Lisa Canm.
Esther had two brothers and a sister that preceded her in death.
Esther is survived by her grandson, Douglas, and daughter in law, Donna Lewis. Her granddaughter Brandy Lewis McDermott has preceded her in death. Esther has 14 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Esther enjoyed being very active in her church as long as her health permitted. She volunteered for many years at the Moffitt Cancer Clinic in Tampa, Florida. She always had a positive attitude and a willingness to give a helping hand whenever she was able.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to her great granddaughter, Madelynn, for assisting with Esther's daily care for these past few months.
