Allie Mae McCrory, 94, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
She was born February 21, 1916 in Point Pleasant, MO to Beulah Mae Crafton and Albert E. Green.
She was united in marriage to Wilton Thomas McCrory on September 23, 1933 in Portageville; he proceeded her in death on October 8, 1958.
She enjoyed being a housewife, a clerk & beautician. She loved being around her family and cooking. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville, MO.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Beulah Mae Crafton & Albert E. Green; brothers, Earcel, Homer, Joe, Bob, RLee and Ira Green; and one sister Mary Lee.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Wilton Thomas "Buddy" McCrory Jr. (Marlene) of Arlington, TN; her daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Kendrick of Jackson, MO, Gladys "Tootsie" (Bobby) Inman of Hayti, Wandena (Jimmy) Dean of Thomasville, AL; sisters, Helen (Zip) Preyer and Doris Moody both of Malden; one brother, Bill (Nancy) Green of Malden; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Kendrick, Randy Inmon, Jody and John Dean, Thomas, John and Mark McCrory, Jared, Jordan and Joel McCrary.
Funeral Services were held Monday, November 8, 2010 at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville with Dr. Buck Morton officiating. Burial was held in the Portageville Cemetery.
DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville was in charge of the services.
