Spc. Justin E. Culbreth, 26, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Nov. 17 at Panjway district, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. In addition to his parents, Walter and Cheryl Culbreth, among the survivors are his wife, Kimberly; his son Brandon and daughter Katelyn; and stepchildren Mariah Bailey, Hannah Carbaugh and Cole Carbaugh.
