DICTIONARY OF CANADIAN BIOGRAPHY ONLINE for Street, Samuel Denny says he married Abigail Freeman on Feb 22 1778, and they had 12 children. On Dec 20 1824 his wife died. One of their greatest contributions to New Brunswick was their children. Of the 12, George Frederick became a judge of the Supreme Court of New Brunswick, William Henry and John Ambrose Sharman were elected to the assembly, Samuel Denny Lee was Anglican rector of Woodstock for 40 years, and daughter Ann Frances married George Duncan Berton, sheriff of York County. In addition to their own offspring, the Streets raised the three orphan children of Dr Ambrose Sharman, who had served with Street in the military and who drowned at Burton in 1793. Their daughter Ann [Sharman?] married William Carman and was the grandmother of William Bliss Carman, the poet.
