Text: Many friends and relatives from here attended the funeral services for Harry Hicks, aged 69 years, which were held at his late home in Avon at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. He was the father of Mrs. Howard Moon of the Abbee road, and besides his wife he leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Howard Sweet of Avon, Mrs. G. Huthsteiner of Bay Village, and Mrs. R. Deming of San Diego, California; one son, Griffin of Avon, and fifteen grandchildren; also three brothers, Willard Hicks of Lorain, Stanley of Portland, Washington, and Jesse of Pasadena, California; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Sump of Elyria, and Mrs. Marian Deming of Alameda, California, and a large circle of friends. Burial was made in Avon cemetery.
