Brownsville Times July 15, 1965 page 5 Ira St. John, 81, 205 S. Sherman St., Albany, died Friday at Albany hospitla July 9 form injuries received from an auto accident May 2, 1965. He was born June 13, 1884 at Oakville, Oregon and lived at Corvallis, Toledo, Shedd, Halsey then to the Oakville Community in 1936, where he lived until coming to Albany in 1961. He was married February 1911 to Maude Bell Babb who passed away Feb. 22, 1961. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his children, Mrs. Wanda A. Bailey, Klamath Falls, oregon; Mrs. Wilma M. Harris, Corvallis; and Raymond W. St. John, Albany; and three grandchildren, Donna Hardie, Condon, Oregon, Donald St. John and Joyce St. John of Albany; and three great granchildren, Terry, Larry and Gary Hardie, Condon. Mr.St. John was a past member of Shedd Lodge No.79 AF&AM, Ferguson Chapter No. 5, Royal Arch Masons, Corvallis, Oregon Council No. 3 Royal and Select masters, Corvallis. Funeral services were held at the Fisher Funeral HOme, 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, Dr. Morton L. Booth officiating. Ritualistic services were given by Shedd Lodge No. 79. AF&AM Bearers were Myrle Thompson, Carl Ronnenkamp, Otho Freman, Floyd Bufman, James H. Murphee, and Ronald Townsden. Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Corvallis.
