George Frederick Fisher was born in Frederick County, near Graceham on May 4, 1914 a son of Russell and Jennie Crawford Fisher and was the husband of Carrie Marshall Fisher who survives him.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jean Spessard and Patricia Lea Miller and six sons, Franklin Russell Fisher; Richard Allen Fisher; Charles Frederick Fisher Sr. George Michael Fisher; Carroll Marshall Fisher and Larry Eugene Fisher and predeceased by one unknown infant Fisher.
