PULASKI - Ruby Parnell White, 86, of Pulaski died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 in the Pulaski Community Hospital.

She was born Oct. 5, 1917 in Carroll County and was the daughter of the late Wilburn and India White Parnell.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elder John Ray White and by four children, John Olen, Henry Elwood, Carolyn Ann White and Jewel Rupe.

She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Sylvatus and she retired with over 25 years of service with Dublin Garment.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving kindness, daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Robert Peterson, Hampton; daughter and son-in-law, Ruby and Rex Wilson, Max Meadows; son and daughter in-law, Ray and Sally White, Bedford; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Elder Ronnie Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery, Carroll County.
