Survivors include two sons, John W. Parrish, Savannah, and Gene E. Parrish, Brooklet; eight daughters, Betty J. McCullough, Savannah, Barbara A. Nubern, Pembroke, Ruth J. Brantley, Sandersville, Janice Parrish, Brooklet, Ruby White, Jacksonville, Fla., Lottie Bennett, Beatrice Rozier and Leah Belle Van Blarcom, all of Statesboro; one sister, Ina Kicklighter, Brooklet; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Clifford and Elder Shelton Mikell officiating. Burial will be in Middleground Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
