Obituary
Eugene P. Ochs, 70, formerly of Jasper County, died unexpectedly Sept. 5 while visiting in the home of his brother, Clarence, West Liberty.
He was the son of John S. and Louisa Zuber Ochs, and is survived by his wife, Regina; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Hamlon, Peoria, and Mrs. Rosemary Schaub, Scott Air Force Base; a son, Thomas Ochs, Peoria; two other brothers, George Ochs, Ste. Marie; and James Ochs, rural West Liberty; two sisters, Mrs. Selastine Kostenski, and Mrs. Ethel Knox, both of Decatur.
Local funeral arrangements were handled by Buchanan Funeral Home, Newton.
