Ralph R. Gregory, 82, a resident of Oakdale Drive, Hunlock Creek, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, in Berwick Hospital, Berwick. He was born August 2, 1928, in Kingston, a son of the late Joseph and Hannah Myers Gregory.

Ralph was a member of the Sweet Valley Church of Christ. His favorite hymn was "The Family of God." He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F.&A.M., Sylvania No. 354, Shickshinny. He served as Worshipful Master in 1976 and was Chaplin for 20 years. He also was High Priest in 1987 of the Royal Arch, Chapter No. 287.

Ralph was State and National Chaplin of the National Camping Travelers. He and his wife, Marie, camped at all 48 Lower States and Canada. He also loved snowmobiling.

He was a certified Master Mechanic on Detroit Diesel and owned and operated Gregory Diesel in Hunlock Creek. Ralph received a certificate from Bloomsburg University in Touch for Health and Reflexology. In later years, he started woodworking and loved to create model cars in exact detail. "Always in the Family of God"

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Marie Meade Gregory; daughters, Donna Andrews and husband, Robert, Cambra, and Nancy Rowe and husband, Austin, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren, Lisa Lindner and husband, Mike; Gregory Andrews and wife, Michelle; Corey Andrews, and Tracie Phillips and husband, Jake; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Emily, Jake, Blake, Ashley, Brook, Amanda and Logan; sister, Betty Lamoreaux, Hunlock Creek; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Dolores Jackson; brothers, Walter, Joseph and Robert; and nephew, Walter Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Rd., Hunlock Creek, with Pastor Joel Stauffer officiating.

Interment will be in Mossville Cemetery, Fairmount Township.
