Louisa had two husbands. 1st husband was Erastus C. Baker. She married him 1845, Erie, New York. From this marriage, four sons, Edward (1846- ). Gilbert (1854-1907), William (1858- ) and Albert (1860-1927). Louisa and Erastus lived in the Rockford, Illinois area. It is presumed by the family that she and Erastus were divorced as she married 2nd, in Floyd County, Iowa, Adam Seaver, 19 June, 1867, following the death of Adam's first wife, Nancy Hooker Seaver in 1865 and Erastus did not die until 1871. Louisa, Adam, and three of Louisa's sons then moved to Kansas where they farmed and where they both died.
