Born in Lamar County, a son of Jimmy & Mittie Concil Wallace, he attended Lamar County schools & served in the Army. He was a former deacon of the Solid Rock Baptist Church & a former employee of Babcock & Wilcox Boilermakers. Surviving are his wife, Geneva; 7 sons, L.V., Lonnie Jr., Jimmy Ray, James, Robert Wayne & Nolan H. Wallace, all of Paris & T.J. Wallace of Dallas; a daughter, Peggy Jean Barry of Paris; 2 sisters, Arze Mitchell of Paris & Bernice Bass of Wichita Falls; 2 aunts; 30 grandchildren & 22 great-grandchildren.'
