Mr. Cloyd E. "Skeetes" McDonald, a retired auto factory worker, passed away Friday, December 5, 1997 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born December 12, 1927 in Overton County, to the late Mack and Nellie (Dishman) McDonald. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle (Finley) McDonald.
He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Conner McDonald of Livingston, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Earl Allen and Nancy McDonald of Beltsville, MD and Bruce and Marlene McDonald of Livingston; 3 step-daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Charlie Hix of Whitleyville, Brenda and Joe Coffee and Shelia and Kenneth Mofield, all of Livingston; 4 grandchildren, Phaedra, Jason, Amy, and Jennifer McDonald; 2 step-grandchildren, Randy Hix and Kimberly Mofield, and 2 step-great-grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia Hix.
