DIXON — Rex Darrel Frasier, 86, Dixon, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at his home.

He was of the Christian faith, a concrete finisher for many years and a member of the local Cement Mason's Union No. 566.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Frasier, who died in 1948, and Darrel Wayne Frasier, who died in 1999; and his parents, Oscar "Pete" and Essie Viola Frasier.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Emma Blackwood Frasier; seven daughters, Wanda Sizemore of Clay, Jeannie Farmer, Tami Baker and Monica Williams, all of Dixon, Shirley Phillips of Evansville, Vicky Taylor of Detroit and Nancy Pietzrak of Vermillion, S.D.; one son, Tim Frasier of Dixon; one brother, Bobby Frasier of Henderson; 30 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Townsend Funeral Home. The Rev. Al Bremer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was of the Christian faith and was a concrete finisher for many years. He as a member of the local Cement Mason's Union #566.

Mr. Frasier was the son of the late Oscar "Pete" and Essie Viola Frasier.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Frasier in 1948 and Darrel Wayne Frasier in 1999.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Emma Blackwood Frasier of Dixon; one son, Tim Frasier of

Dixon; seven daughters, Wanda Sizemore of Clay, Shirley Phillips of Evansville, IN, Jeannie Farmer of Dixon, Vicky Taylor of Detroit, MI, Nancy Pietzrak of Vermillion, SD, Tami Baker and Monica Williams both of Dixon; one brother, Bobby Frasier of Henderson; thirty grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Father Al Bremer officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon.
