ARCHIE LEROY PERRYMAN 1934 - 2005

Funeral services for Archie Leroy Perryman, 71 of Gore, Oklahoma was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday december 19, 2005 at the Gore School Gymnasium with Reverend Tommy Ballard and Reverend John Barnes officiating

Pallbearers were Clifford Cowart, Tommy Mannon, Colin Clark, Buck Clark, Boots Young, and Ralph James. Honorary pallbearers were John James, Ricky James, Roger James, Don Carter, Jimmy Risley, Dean James and Brad James. Burial will be in the Gum Springs Cemetery north of Gore under the direction of Millsap Funeral Services of Webbers Falls.

Archis was born September 21, 1934 at Blackgum, Oklahoma. The son of Margie Cowart and died Friday, December 16, 2005 in Tulsa.

Archie married flo James on June 30, 1956 in Stigler and together they owned and operated the Jolly roger Restaurant in Gore for 31 years. He was also the general foreman for Daniels Construction Company where he helped many people get jobs. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a self-made man and was very caring for his fellowman. His family was very important to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Margie and George Young and special father-in-law, Ralph James and special mother-in-law, Aline James.

Survivors include his wife, Flo Perryman of the home; children, Michael Archie Perryman and wife, Sonya of Gore; Donna Gates and husband, Jim of Gore; Grandchildren, Jeremiah Perryman and wife Kandace of Muskogee; Joseph Shiloh Perryman of Gore; Michael Shelby Perryman of McLoud; Archie Brandom and Jodi Gates of Gore; Jordan Gates of Gore and Adrian Gates of Gore; two step-grandsons, Travis, and wife Lacey Brake of Keefton, and David Brake of Gore; two great grandchildren, Dayne Michael Perryman and Scarlett Gates.
