Mrs. Clift was born October 31, 1911 in Parks, Arkansas to Robert Otho and Eula Belle Stafford and departed this life December 7, 2006 at her home in Sebastopol, Calif. where she lived with her daughter, Eugenia Clift Dreyfus and her son-in-law, Jared Dreyfus. She married Claude Eugene Clift in 1938 at Lawton, Ok..
She came to Oklahoma in a covered wagon with her parents when she was four years old. She lived in Caddo county until she and her husband moved to California a few years after their marriage. Her heart was always in Oklahoma where she wanted to be buried beside her parents. She was preceded in death by her husband as well as her parents.
She is survived by two brothers, Herman 'Lit' Stafford and Thurman 'Big' Stafford; and three sisters, Dovie King, Imogene Clift and Verna Faye Myers. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two sons, Donald Dwane Clift and Calvin Leslie Clift; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
