Phillip Amesquita, age 71 of Pearland, TX, passed away October 28, 2010. He was born September 1, 1939, in San Antonio, TX, to Felipe and Eugenia (Rodriguez) Amesquita. Phillip served his country in the Marine Corps. He was devoted to his family and friends and will be missed.

Phillip is survived by his wife: Connie Amesquita and daughter: Lisa M. Ellis of Pearland; TX; sister: Dolores Medellin of San Antonio, TX; brothers: David Amesquita of Mesquite, TX, and Richard Amesquita of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren: Harrison Humphreys and Sydney Ellis.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228, with Father Vic Bartolotta officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel Monday from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. Memorials may be made to Bishop Lynch Scholarship, 9750 Ferguson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228.
