Paolina Copani Behnke, 64, of Clay, died Thursday [January 13, 2000] at University Hospital. She was born in Catania, Sicily. She was a coordinator at the Turning Stone Casino & Resort, Verona, since before its opening in 1993. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Survivors: Her husband, David E.; three sons, Alfred A. Cristaldi of North Syracuse, Neil Grosso of Clay and Sal Grosso of Los Angeles; a daughter, Pauline Grosso of Cicero; two sisters, Josephine Fougnier of DeWitt and Mary Finley of Syracuse: four brothers, Sam Copani and Louis Copani, both of Syracuse, James Copani of East Syracuse and Anthony Copani of Liverpool; two grandchildren. Services: 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Burial, Woodlawn Garden Mausoleum. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. 514 Turtle St.
