Z. P. Ogilvie Died at Detriot

Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon, June 9th at 2:30 o'clock at the First Bapist Church for Z. P. Ogilvie, aged 64years. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery. The Rev. J. S. Compere, local pastor of that chuch officiating. Mr. Ogilvie died June 6th at Detroit, Mich., and his body shipped here for burial.

The deceased until about four years ago resided in Charleston where he followed the building business. He was a minister of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of this city, preaching occasionally at point in this section and in Kentucky. He was a native of the latter state.

The pallbearers were Charles Stanfill, E. T. Moon, T. H. Miller, J. O. King, E. Bailey, E. E. Bingham, J. W. Kirkpatrick and George Test.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Amanda Ogilvie and the following sons and daughters: Nellie and Eva of Bertrand; Bentie of Tulsa, Okla., and Fred and Lattis of Detroit, Mich., all of whom were present for the service and interment. - Published in the Enterprise-Courier (Charleston, MO) on Thursday 12 Jun 1930, pg 10.
