John Joseph Sanok was born August 24, 1866 in Poznan, Gurzen, Poland & died Monday evening, March 10, 1930 at his residence, 97 Willow St, Bloomfield, NJ.

He was the s/o Joseph Sanok and Antonia (nee Kazimen) & bro/o Stephen Sanok. he married Maryann Gapinska on July 11, 1897 in Newark, Essex Co, NJ.

He was a well known resident of the Third Ward and one of the oldest Polish Americans in the town of Bloomfield, NJ when he died. He lived in the US for 63 years & resided in Bloomfield, NJ for 44 years. hew as an active member of St Valentine's Holy Name Society, the Polish American Improvement Association & the Joseph Poniatowski Beneficiary Assocation.

He was employed 24 years at General Electric and a member of the General Electric Employees Mutual Benefit Association.

Funeral services were held at St. Valentine's R.C. Church. Father B. Socha celebrated solemn high mass. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
