Catlin died June 16, 1973, at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver. He was born Dec. 4, 1896, in Miltonvale, Kansas. A resident of Alamosa since 1927, he was a gas distributor. He also worked farming.
Surviving are his widow, Inga Catlin; two sons, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three step-sons; three step-daughters, and one brother.
