A retired farmer and trucker, Mr. Jackson was born June 9, 1906, in Petersburg, the son of Orpha and Sarah Hibbs Jackson. He married Helen Lott in 1933. Mr. Jackson was a member of Farmingdale Presbyterian Church.
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Ollie Pantier, Bertha Seiz and Elizabeth Clarey.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Tuxhorn of Springfield and Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Hagen of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Eulah Sammons of Springfield; one brother, Orlie of Springfield; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Farmingdale Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Tindall and Dr. John Kay officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery at Farmingdale.
