Snyder, John A. Jr.--Funeral services for Mr. John A. Snyder Jr., age 73, of 4616 Euclid Avenue will be held at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning at Curry's Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Avenue. Mr. John Franklin, Minister of Church of Christ-Manhattan will officiate. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jim Beasley, Oliver Stamps, Bob Dudding, Bill Schmidt, Curtis Hill and Edward Farkas. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders and Deacons of the Church of Christ-Manhattan and Dr. Lester L. Zipser. Mr. Synder is survived by his wife Mrs. Lydia A. Snyder, Tampa, son Raymond H. Snyder, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth J. Mull, Tampa, Mrs. Lloyd W. Mowery, Lancaster, Pa., step-sister Mrs. Elizabeth Menalikas (Xakellis), Lancaster, Pa., nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

John A. Snyder Jr., 73, of 4616 Euclid Ave., Tampa, Fla., formerly of Lancaster, died Monday in Tampa.
He was formerly employed as a compositor for the Intelligencer Journal, starting his trade with that business in 1927. He and his wife, Lydia A. Snyder, moved to Florida in 1959.
Snyder retired from St. Petersburg Times in 1964, and was a member of Manhattan Avenue Church of Christ, Tampa.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Florence, wife of Kenneth Mull, Tampa, and Elizabeth, wife of Lloyd Mowery, Lancaster; a son Raymond, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Xakellis, Lancaster.
