Eulogy

Delivered by Deborah Coelho

Our grandpa was born and raised in Tulare. The family lived on a farm east of town. He had two sisters and two brothers. He married Audrey DeCamp in 1941. There only daughter, Shirley Coelho was born in 1942. There are five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter

The closeness of our family was enriched by the fact that grandpa accepted my daddy into his family as if he were his very own son.

In his business dealings he was fair and honest, to his friends he was kind and generous and full of good humor. He was all of this to us grandchildren and much, much more. He was our teacher, our helper, and our example. He shared his value and his love of life.

Grandpa spent individual time with each of his grandchildren, and had a uniquely different and special relationship with each one of us.

He was tender hearted and loving, he accepted each of us as individuals, overlooking and forgiving our weaknesses. With these loving memories we offer this prayer:

We ask the Lord to bless our family and friends, who have shared their lives with our Grandpa. It is through loving and sharing that our lives grow richer. We also, ask you father, to help each of us live in obedience to your holy will, so that we may someday enjoy eternal life with the one who’s loving memory we honor today. Through the love of Jesus Christ,
AMEN
