This group of 9 individuals was buried side-by-side after being transferred from the old Merrill cemetery to the current one in 1886. They include (left to right): Rebeca Combs, Therese J. Andrews, ???, Infant Combs, Nathan Herbert Combs, Allace Combs, ??? (what looks to be the empty space may actually be Elvira Combs), ??? (possibly Freddie Combs) and Dora Combs (flat to the ground and missing lower half of the stone).

In August, 2014, it is difficult to read several of the headstones but the following newspaper article outlines their placement ...

"The work of removing the dead from the old cemetery is being prosecuted under the management of Alex Baker. At the new cemetery ground on Saturday last, we found Mr. Baker and his men at work, reconsigning to the mother earth the remains of the deceased relatives of Harrison Combs and F. M. Andrews. This is a group of nine, consisting of, and arranged as follows: Rebeca, wife of Peter Combs, died January 1, 1860, age 75 years. Also a son in the same coffin: Theresa J., wife of F. M. Andrews, died Feb. 22, 1879. Lulu, infant daughter of F. M. and Theresa J. Andrews, died Sept. 26, 1875. Nathan Herbert, son of Harrison and Elvira Combs, died May 10, 1861. Alice, daughter of same, died Oct. 5, 1862. Elvira, wife of Harrison Combs, died Oct. 16, 1872, Fredrick H., son of Harrison and Dora Combs, died Dec. 26, 1874. Dora, second wife of Harrison Combs, died Feb. 8, 1878. Another recently re-interred group consists of: Clara E., daughter of A. C. and Martha Norway, died Aug. 28, 1867. Burton M., son of same, died Dec. 26, 1863. Elnora E., daughter of same, died May 16, 1871. Homer G., son of same, died April 14, 1872. A. W. Crown, died Oct. 13, 1880.
