Former Citizen Dies at Bertha

A message has been received here announcing the death of Wallace Spring which occurred at a hospital at Bertha, MN, Wednesday night. Death followed an attack of congestion of the lungs and brain fever.

He was 36 years of age and leaves a wife and three children. He is also survived by his sister, Mrs. W.J. Sorenson of this city and a brother, Glen of Chicago and formerly of this city.

He made his home with his brother, Glen, at Dayton Hollow, southwest of the city, about four years ago.

Since locating at Hewitt he has conducted a pool hall. Glen is expecrted to arrive from Chicago today to attend the funeral and Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Sorenson are also expected home today.

Funeral services will be held from the home at Hewitt today and the remains will be brought here for interment tomorrow.

Services will be held from Benson's Chapel Saturday.
