Has a full and complete stock on hand and is prepared to meet his increasing trade. We call especial attention to this enterprising and well regulated house.

End Comes at Cassil Place Home Last Night

Was Engaged in Shoe Business and Had Resided in Carthage for 36 Years

Robert C. McClelland, 65 years old, died at midnight last night at his home in Cassil Place, from dysentery and a complication of diseases. He had been ill only two weeks. Mr. McClelland had lived in Carthage almost 36 years.

A wife and one daughter, Miss Eleanora McClelland, survive. Other relatives probably will attend the funeral, which will be held from the Knell chapel at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, the Rev John Oliphant, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, to conduct the services.

Mr. McClelland was born November 29, 1847 in Princeton, Mercer County, Missouri. He was reared and married there, and on the thirtieth anniversary of his birth, November 29, 1877, he came to Carthage with his family. He engaged in the shoe business here and in Webb City, later becoming a traveling salesman for a shoe company.

He was a member of the A. O. U. W. and the Knights and Ladies of Security the members of which orders are invited to the services tomorrow.
