MIDDLEBURG -- Mary Ellen Gemberling, 80, of 203 Wausau Road, passed away Sunday evening, June 17, 2007, at her home.
She was born May 15, 1927, in Northumberland, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ellen (Hoover) Ricker. In 1946, she married Ray E. Gemberling, who preceded her in death in 1990.
She was a 1945 graduate of Northumberland High School.
She was a homemaker all of her married life.
Mary Ellen enjoyed dining out, shopping and watching TV, especially "The Price is Right."
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ellen, Diana Louise and Martha Marie, all of Middleburg; one granddaughter, Sherry Faust and her husband Dan; one great-grandaughter, Ameila Elizabeth.; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Kenneth and Barb Ricker of Newark, Del., and Paul and Russell Ricker, both of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Janet, and three brothers, Glenn, John and Carl Ricker.
Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
