Mr. Elmer Paul Delozier, age 89 of the North Douglas Avenue in Rockwood passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010. A US Army Veteran of World War II, he attended the North Rockwood Baptist Church for many years; and was a member of the Oak Leaf Lodge #49 Knights of Pythias and the Meadowbrook Christian Church in Maryville. He worked for many as a machine servicer in the vending machine business. He enjoyed working outdoors, golfing and watching sports on TV.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Nell Bowers Delozier; wife: Evelyn Majors Delozier; brothers Edward Delozier and Claude Delozier; sister Helen Miller and great granddaughter Melody Taylor.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 28th at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Ben Whittenbarger and Elder Bill Taylor officiating. Interment will be Friday at 2:00 pm in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary
