Mr. Carl Adcock, 89, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully at his home in the arms of his loving wife on Saturday March 30, 2013. Mr. Adcock was born in Turin, Georgia on April 6,
1923 and was the son of the late Jarvey Dale and Mary Kate Hunter Adcock. Mr. Adcock retired as Executive Vice President of First Federal Savings and Loan. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church for over forty years and served in the U. S. Army Air Corp in World War II. Mr. Adcock was an avid golfer and was a long-time member of Cherokee Town and Country Club and was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 3rd in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington at 3:00pm., with interment following in St. Patrick
Cemetery. There will be a reception after the committal service in the fellowship hall at St. Joseph's.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Carey Adcock, of Atlanta and by a number of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington or to your favorite charity.
