EFFINGHAM — Eulala M. Habbe, 82, of Effingham died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham, with the Rev. Theodore C. Gall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham. Condolences may be left online to the family at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com
Mrs. Habbe was born on Feb. 29, 1928, in Montrose, the daughter of Fern and Myrtle (Kingery) McManigell. She married Warren Habbe on April 5, 1947, at St. John's Lutheran, Effingham.
Eulala was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham. She was co-owner of Warren Habbe Wholesale Candy & Tobacco, Effingham.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Habbe of Effingham; sons, Greg Habbe and Dave Habbe, both of Effingham; grandchildren, Max Habbe, Rachel Habbe and Eric Habbe, all of Effingham; and brothers, Bob McManigell and Dennis McManigell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brother and two sisters.
