Phyllis L Adrian, 87, of Rogers City died January 5, 2003, at Alpena General Hospital. She was born January 13, 1915 in Posen to John and Gonda (Pilarski) Dembny.
Phyllis worked at a garment factory in Detroit during World War II. She moved back to Rogers City area and married Erwin Adrian on August 13, 1946 at St Ignatius Catholic Church. She was a member of St Ignatius Catholic Church and a life member of the Rosary Society.
Surviving are a son, Thomas D (Gloria) of Moltke; two grandchildren, Krista (Chris) Hempel of Hawks and Andrew Adrian of Moltke; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Alysse Hempel; a sister, Virginia Kroll of Rogers City; a brother, Eugene Dembny of Rogers City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin, May 16, 1989; and two sisters, Mary Tulgetske and Gladys Jozwiak.
Visitation was Monday (Jan 6th) at the Beck Funeral Home where the Rosary Society recited the Rosary followed by the Parish Wake Service.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday at St Ignatius Catholic Church with the Rev Charles Donajkowski officiating. Interment was at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to St Ignatius Catholic Church.
