Harriet "Jean" Fuller age 74 of Joplin, Mo. passed away Wednesday November 24, 2010 at her home following a sudden illness.

Jean was born February 26, 1936 in Durant, Ok. to Benjamin and Harriet (Hattie) Risner. She has lived most of her life in the Joplin area. Jean was a teacher for the Joplin R-8 School District for many years and was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker, Four Seasons Realty and Charles Burt Realtors. She was a member of the Forest Park Baptist Church.

Jean married Robert M. Fuller on March 23, 1983 in Joplin, Mo. he survives. Additional survivors include four step daughters, Cathy Brown and husband Bob of Joplin, Peggy Schnelle and husband Doug of Carthage, Janet Morrow and husband Steve of Bella Vista, Ar., Jill Edwards and husband Tim of Carthage; her good friend Kathy Johnson and her pets, Chloe, Sophie, Nick, Babe and Lillie Mae; one sister, Carrie Crockett of Joplin; ten step grandchildren, eighteen step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; Jean was preceded in death by her son, David Randal Bowman in 1981, two brothers, Ben and Frank Risner and one sister, Mae Garnett.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Rev. John Swadley officiating. Burial will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
