Daniel was born in England, baptized Jan 28, 1821 at Cropredy, Oxfordshire, England. He emigrated with his parents and 2 older brothers, leaving from Liverpool on the ship St George, arriving in New York Jun 26, 1832. He married Anna Marie Rideout in 1849. They had at least 3 children. After Daniel's early passing, Anna married Silas Hake in 1856. She had at least 1 adnl child. After Silas's death in 1859, she married Edward Burt in 1863 and had at least 4 adnl children.
