"Marvin Susee, 65, died Tuesday from complications of surgery. Born in Woodburn, he served in the Navy SeaBees reserves for 23 years. He graduated from Mount Angel Prep School and was a supervisor for the Marion County Road Department for 39 years. He belonged to Gervais Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Jane (Brentano), whom he married in 1957; daughters, Tina Schneider of St. Paul, Teri Lopes of Salem and Laura Hagenauer of Woodburn; sons, Tim of Canby and David of Gervais; sister, Joyce Hailey of Keizer; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild."
