SUSAN A. KIRK
Susan A. Kirk died January 2, 1934 at her home several miles north of here at the advanced age of 89 years. She was born in Benton County on August 5, 1844. She was married to Martin Kirk in 1865 who died more than 50 years ago. Ten children were borned to them. Two have passed on, Henry dying at the age of 9, Arch died August 21, 1933. Surviving are Tom, Wyatt, Frank and Pierce of Clifty, Mrs. Eliza Harp, Fairfax, Okla, Mrs. Nancy Finnell, Eureka Springs, Mrs. Eda Conway, Muskogee Oklahoma, Mrs. Alice Gates, Anderson, MO. Also 39 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. All the children attended the funeral. Mrs. Kirk was the oldest member of the Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist church
