DAVENPORT -- Lillian Iola Bequeaith, of Davenport, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at Davenport Lutheran Home.
Celebration of Life services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice, Davenport.
Lillian Iola Stout was born April 1, 1917, in Fremont, Iowa, to William Earl and Nellie Mae (Garrett) Stout. She married Wilber Bequeaith on July 25, 1936 in Lancaster, Missouri, and together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage before his death in 1998. Mr. Bequeaith operated the family business, Davenport Brake Service, for many years.
Lillian is survived by daughter, Donna Hall, ofMadisonville, Ky.; sons and daughters-in-law, William and Yorana Bequeaith, and Wilber "Gene" and Alice Bequeaith, all of Davenport, and Richard and Loretta Bequeaith, of Russell, Iowa; grandchildren, Ronald, of Madisonville, Shaun, of Des Moines, Iowa, Richard and Tiffany, of Davenport, Dennis, of Blue Grass, Iowa, Mark and Penny, of Moline, and Jeffrey, of Phoenix, Ariz.; six great-grandsons; sister, Opal (Stout) Bequeaith, of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and brothers, Bob Stout, of Inverness, Fla., and Raymond Stout, of Oskaloosa.
