---Odell Doggett, 80, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Monday morning (August 12, 1996 at the Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center in Kirisville, Missouri.
---The son of Oren Emmett and Minnie Bragg Doggett he was born January 17, 1916 in La Plata, Missouri. On June 16, 1958 in Kirksville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Kathyleen Rachford who survives.
---Also surviving are one sister, Cleone Beeson of Atlanta, Missouri; one nephew, Wayne Beeson and wife, Elizabeth of Atlanta, Missouri; one niece, Pam Wright and husband, Horman of Moberly, Missouri and several great nieces and nephews.
---He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Alfred Beeson.
---Odell received his education and graduated from the Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Missouri. He farmed and raised cattle on the same farm, northwest of Atlanta, Missouri until retiring and moving to Kirksville, Missouri fifteen years ago.
---He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1751 of Kirksville and was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kirksville.
---Funeral services will be held Wednesday at two o'clock in the chapel of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Dr. Gary Metcalf will officiate the service. Music will be provided by Dianthe Cable, organist and Harold Moyer, soloist. The selections will be "I'm Climbing The Stairs To Heaven" and "Old Rugged Cross." Entombment will be held in the Maple Hills Mausoleum in Kirksville, Missouri.
---Pallbearers will be David Beeson, Kyle Palmer, George Harkey Jr., Mark Moyer, Randy Yos and Darrell Bealmer.
---Honorary bearers will be Dee McDuffie, Theo Gooding, Howard Morris, Harold Moyer and George Harkey Sr.
---Visitation is in progress at the Travis-Moe Funeral Home in Kirksville and the family will receive friends from six to eight o'clock this evening Tuesday (August 13, 1996) in the chapel of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home, Kirksville, Missouri.
---An expression of sympathy in memory of Odell Doggett may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Kirksville. Memorials may be left at or mailed to the Travis-Noe Funeral Home, Kirksville, Missouri.
