Mrs. Harriet L. Butler, 55, of 3377 Stiles Road, Town of Van Buren, died unexpectedly yesterday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack at home.
Born in Owl's Head, she had lived in the Town of Van Buren 35 years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Seneca Knolls.
Surviving are her husband, Frank; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Virginio and Mrs. John Mero Jr., both of Baldwinsville; two sons, Thomas of Fairmount and James of San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, Lyman of Owl's Head, Alvie of Malone and George Benoit of Baldwinsville; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Falardeau Funeral Home, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Town of Lysander.
