Born Jan. 16, 1924, in Hummels Wharf, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sally E. (Hile) Reichenbach. Her husband, Joseph W. Herrold, Middleburg RR1, whom she married Aug. 22, 1942, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Sharon L. Deppen, Herndon; a son, Arthur J. Herrold, Dallastown; a brother, Arthur D. Reichenbach, Selinsgrove; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a 1942 graduate of Selinsgrove High School. She was a homemaker. Earlier in life, she was involved as a Cub Scout leader. She played the piano and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, flowers and gardening.
Services will be held at the Aurand Funeral Homes, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, with the Rev. Thomas Schroeder officiating. Interment will be in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
