He was a native of Wake County, N.C., and was the son of James Bradford Blow and Diane Jacobs Blow.
David was born Nov. 29, 1983. He was a 2002 graduate of South Point High School and was currently attending Appalachian State University where he was majoring in History and English. David lived simply. He had a heart as big as the outdoors that he loved so much. He was also passionate about his music, his guitar and sports.
Survivors: In addition to his parents; brother, Jordan Andrew Blow of Gastonia; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Madge Jacobs of Stanley; paternal grandmother, Sara Blow Mansfield and her husband Frank of Raleigh; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Preceded in death by: Paternal grandfather, William Lowery Blow.
