Gregory Scott Coffman was born July 9, 1969 in Italy, to parents Cherlanand Geraldine (Henle) Coffman. He died November 12, 2010 in Chicago,
IL at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 3 days.

Greg attended Beresford Elementary School and graduated from Beresford High School in 1987. He attended and graduated from Northeastern
University in Boston, MA and soon after achieved the designation as aCertified Financial Analyst. Greg's career in the financial industry included employment at Meriden Capital Markets in Florida, Dain Rauscher Inc. in Chicago and Minneapolis, RBC Dain Rauscher in New York, RBC Capital Markets in New York and most recently at First Trust Portfolios, L.P. in Wheaton, IL where he was a Senior Vice President/ Lead Strategist.
He married Julie Stewart in July of 2010. They were currently residing in Chicago, IL.

Greg always had a talent with numbers and displayed an entrepreneurial
spirit at a young age when he opened a concession stand at theBeresford swimming pool when he was 11. He worked at Chuck's Foodland and started C & C Painting with John Cleberg when he was in high
school. Greg was an adventurer and had traveled to places likeVietnam, Prague, Brazil, and Ireland. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan,
appreciated art and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cherlan and Gerry Coffman.

His survivors include his wife Julie of Chicago; sister Sheri Oswald
and husband Steve of Beresford and their children, Jacqlyn, Ali and
Stephen; brother Chuck Coffman and wife Pam of Beresford and their
children, Amanda, Morgan and Gage; brother Sean Coffman and wife Jamee
of Sioux Falls and their children, Jayda and Torey; his father and
mother-in-law Leo and Lola Stewart of Sturgis, SD; a lifetime neighbor
and special friend Viola Wevik of Beresford; and many other relatives
and friends.

Memorials can be made out to Watchdog Education Foundation. They can be given to the family or sent directly to Brian Field c/o Beresford High School, 301 W Maple Street, Beresford, SD 57004.

Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford, SD with burial at Beresford City Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be Friday from 5PM to 7PM at the church.
