CAMERON — Alvin August Abel, 95, of Temple died Sunday, Nov. 28, in a Temple nursing home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Johnny Kueker officiating.
Private burial will follow in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts.
Mr. Able was born on Aug. 1, 1915, to Louis and Hattie Pick Abel in Milam County. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts.
Survivors include three sisters, Laverne May of Temple, Ethleen George of Merced, Calif., and Mildred Fuchs of Bedford.
