David was born August 12, 1921, in Springfield, CO, to Victor Basil and Mattie "Imogene" Robb. His only sibling was Victor B. Robb, Jr. and all predeceased him. David went home to our Lord Jesus at 2:09 a.m. on November 21. He passed quietly in his home surrounded with the love of his children, grand and great-grandchildren. David married Florence "RuthieLee" Schoolcraft in Vancouver, WA, on June 16, 1948. They had four children, Dianna (Al) of Grand Ronde, Vicki (Jim) of Sheridan, Chuck (Teresa) of Salem, and Les of Gilbert, AZ. He also had two sons from a previous marriage, David Lee, NV, and Richard Charles, AL. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. After Ruthie's death in 1991, David married Marilyn Wendell. He and Ruthie spent many early years of retirement doing what they loved: traveling, rock hounding, caring for their beautiful rose and glad gardens. As well as devoting a lot of time to three generations of children and grandchildren. After they built the Pizza Castle in Salem, many family members also enjoyed working in the family business. David's love and devotion to his family and friends will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He truly was an awesome Father, Papa, Husband, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all of us. A Celebration of Life will be held between 2 - 5 p.m. on Monday, November 29 in the Santiam Room at Roth's IGA, 1130 Wallace Rd. NW, Salem, OR. Interment will be private and arrangements by Restlawn Funeral Home.
