Aubrey Guy Evans, 68, of Newbern, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at his residence.
He was a retired Goodyear employee.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pierce Cemetery in Trimble with the Rev. James Combs officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 3:30-6 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Ann Combs Evans of Newbern; two daughters, Kristi Deming and Kim Pugh, both of Newbern; two sons, Kenneth Evans and Keith Evans, both of Newbern; five sisters, Dorothy Hartsfield and Cindy McDonald, both of Newbern, Frances McKnight of Memphis, Billie Byers of Valparaiso, Ind., and Ann Wilson of Ripley; a brother, Leslie Evans of Arlington; and five grandchildren, Kala Pugh, Logan Pugh, Brianna Pugh, Hannah Evans and Isak Deming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Evans and Willie Mae Evans; a sister, Jonelle Council; and two brothers, Bob Evans and Carl Evans.
Pallbearers will be Ben Rosenthal, Lance Evans, Donald Pugh, Logan Pugh, Sonny Herren and William Edward Parnell. Honorary pallbearer will be Richard Earl Weatherly.
