CYGNET - Mrs. Ethel A. Apple, 78, of Cygnet, died at 5:40 p.m.
Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Ensman, Van Buren. She had been ill for six months.
Born May 25, 1892, in Seneca County, she was the daughter of Arlington and Kate (Hoke) Bosler. She married Vernard Apple in 1913 and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Van Buren; sons, Joy, Cygnet; and Richard, North Baltimore; sisters, Mrs. Maude Wilt, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Anna Adams, North Baltimore, and Mrs. Gayetta Huffman, Findlay; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Services, Women's Christian Temperance Union, The Portage Township Grange and the St. James United Methodist Church, North Baltimore.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Verlin Derbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. in the Rippeth Funeral Home.
