A life so well lived, that when her summons came to join that innumerable caravan which moved to that mysterious realm where each shall take his chamber in the silent balls of death. She approached her grave like one who wraps the drapery of his couch about him and lies down to pleasant dreams.

Deloris Ann Cole Craft (Fifty) made her advent into the center of time October 30, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee to the parentage of Mr. Louis C. Cole and Mrs. Mae Birdia Sesley Cole. She was taught to recognize the need for the new birth, so at an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and united with Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained until her death. For many years at Hickory Hill MBC, she was the teacher for our nursery class which she loved very much.

She was a 1965 graduate of Capleville High School. Recognizing that marriage is honorable and blessed by our Lord she was united in marriage to David L. Craft, July 4, 1971 and to this consummated covenant two sons were born, Christopher and Darrell Craft.

She was employed at Wonder Bread Bakery for twenty-four years.

Suddenly Thursday morning, April 2, 1998 at Baptist Central Hospital, Deloris took up homestead and moved to that far country to a town that is older that Eden, to a city that is taller than Rome.
