Son of William "Bille" & Lucy Clark. His father is buried in Cutting cemetery & his mother, Lucy Clark, Billie's first wife is buried in Davidson cemetery, Whitingham with three of Julius' sisters.

(I) Julius E. Clark was born in Halifax, Vermont, in 1789, and he witnessed the growth and progress of Halifax, Vermont, township, even through Civil War days. He died there December 25, 1866, aged seventy-seven years. He married Rebecca Lamb, born in Halifax, Vermont, 1795, and she died December 5, 1879, aged eighty-four years. Their children: Lemuel; Mary, who married Joseph Rice; Aaron L., of whom further.

Death Record: Julius Clark, a married man, of Halifax, died age 77 yrs. 8 mos. 10 days, a Farmer, born in Whitingham whose father was William Clark, and his mother's maiden name is given only as Lucy (Clarl is crossed out, clerical error started to write Clark). Date of death is 25 Dec 1866 cause Gravel (small stones i.e. urinary crystals).
